EJE THELIN "ACOUSTIC SPACE" (EMI/ODEON, 1970)

About two years ago I heard for the first time a collaboration between Joachim Kühn and Eje Thelin.
Since then I was keen to hear more from them - my appreciation goes to Nick once again for providing us with a rip!
More from Thelin & Kühn you'll find here and there

....who will release it once again?

I was thinking of Thelin's work the other day - his journey to free and onwards.

Thx a lot for this - looks sweet!

Can anyone tell us more about Adelhard Roidinger? Not much seems to be known about him. I always assumed he was/is East German. I have his mysterious ECM “Schattseite” release, plus the recordings he made in the 70’s with Anthony Braxton, Karl Berger and a few other well-known Germans. Beyond that, I draw a blank.

the bassist roidinger is a fave since i heard him with braxton/oxley and hauser/leimgruber around the same time (thank you werner x. "people need 30-40 years to get into new sounds/music" uehlinger!). interesting to hear him early on. was, like barry guy, trained as an architect. has been cooped up in the linz bruckner university teaching and writing treatises, i gather, more than venturing out to perform.
thanks for the first pinning-up of this, for which i was regrettably silent.
